I liked this book the best in the series so far. I had originally thought this was a trilogy but based on the ending that isn't correct.
I was concerned when Zane appeared and seemed to be working with the dragon killers but he explained he was protecting Lia's family and that she'd promised not to return to Darkfrith. I'm wondering if Zane extracted this promise by using the Draumr but Lia was also wearing part of it so I can't be sure.
Also, I can't understand why Kit and Rue...

I was so excited to read this after enjoying The Smoke Thief and The Dream Thief so much. Boy was I disappointed! I truely despise books that set up all kinds of questions and intrique and then don't answer them at the end - it leaves the book feeling unfinished with a lame attempt at getting you to read the next book in the series (which Abe is obviously writing). I just think a good author can write a series without leaving TONS of unanswered questions from book to book. This book did not...
