“I've heard of this book from several places and decided it was time to read (or listen to) it. It was fabulous. I sometimes stopped to think, "Hey, I should be bored by all this battle room stuff," but I never was. I really liked the main character, and all of the details were tied together well at the end. I'm glad I listened to this one, and that I listened to the author's discussion at the end, explaining that his background was in writing plays, so he writes his stories to be read aloud.
Now I can't decide if I want to read the other books in the series. I like how this one was tied together so well that I'm afraid more would ruin the experience.”
