“I bought this book because of a few different reasons. 1, I thought it was a different book that I had once read, turns out it wasn't. 2, it's my aunt's favorite series (sagas?) of all time so her talking about it intrigued me. 3, I love stuff that has to do with space and the future and the bonds of friendship. And especially among boys for some reason. So alas one day I do plan to take more of a look into this book. ;) ”

I liked the main character, but found that several of them were not necessarily believable in their motivations. I liked the premise though, and several of the relationships, especially the ones the main character forged at school. Definitely a sci-fi reader's book.”
