“This is apparently a later book in a series. It wasn't clear how many previous books belong to this series, how far down the line this one falls, but it really shouldn't be read alone. I found it tough to follow the story line, which involves some kind of demon and a heroine who is either the doom of the demons or the savior of them. It wasn't clear which--and it's possible that she might be both, depending on her choices. I found this story confusing and unfortunately forgettable. I have not been impressed by many of the Nocturne books, much as I have wanted to like them.”
