“I've been intrigued by Anatole Broyard's story since I read the New Yorker article years ago. I loved Roth's fictionalized account in THE HUMAN STAIN but I hated the movie. What bizarre and horrible casting. Bliss Broyard's account of her father's life is thoughtful and interesting. There were a few curious lines here and there, well more than a few, but I can forgive that. Just ordered her short story collection, MY FATHER DANCING.”
