“Just into the "eat " part of this book and I have been laughing out loud which is so healthy. I'd return to Italy tomorrow if some kind friend would send me an airline ticket...Brisbane to Rome, with a year to pick my return date!! I am dieting with this book as I don't want to read it too quiclkly but I will make it last like a delicious dish.”

“YUCK! What a self-indulgent novel! I liked the second part of the book where she goes to India, but I just couldn't fathom leaving a marriage to self-indulge! And, to top it off, she makes you think she is fine and found piece with out a man in her life and what does she go and do??? Find one in the last chapters. It really is a selfish story that I couldn't relate to.”
