It doesn't get better. It's nonsense. A waste of time. energy, space with a very well designed cover. Read something else that will make you think real thoughts.

I think this book is overrated. I liked Italy but she started getting on my nerves in India and especially in Indonesia. I didn't really get the spiritually of it.

I loved this book. I think anyone going through "the phase" of seeking and making peace with themselves will relate to her fantastic journey. At times, I would find myself closing the book and visualising myself in her place.

I read this after hearing so much about the book and seeing her on Oprah. I was disappointed, I enjoyed when she was at the ashram in India, but other than that, did not see how this was a spiritual journey, it seemed to be too much about her, very self absorbed. Not everyone has the money to go off to "find themselves" in this manner.

I enjoyed this book but I am wondering if it shows how her experiences in the ashram had any effect on her experienced in Indonesia.
