Do you like action and suspenseful realistic fiction books? then this book, "Night of the Twisters" by Ivy Ruckman is the book for you. It is exciting and entertaining for almost anyone.

It starts off with Dan and Arthur in their house. While they are watching T.V, they hear warnings of a huge thunderstorm and possible tornadoes. Dan and Arthur aren't worried about it and disregard it. About an hour later, Dan's mom has to leave to go somewhere and they are told that if a tornado comes then they must take shelter and grab Ryan, the baby, no matter what. After a few hours, Dan hears sirens go off and they hear a very strong wind. Dan and Arthur quickly head downstairs with Ryan. A tornado roars over their house and Dan and Arthur are in a huge panic. Do they survive the next six tornadoes, did they even survive this one?

This book is a very good read and is appropriate for ages about 10 or older. This book is very entertaining and suspensful and almost anyone would like it. An example of suspense is the part with the tornadoes. An example of entertainment is when they find someone (that i can not say because it would give it away). I hope that you read and enjoy this book!

I loved this book. It had action, adventure in the middle, and lots of suspense during the hurricane parts. I really like how the author explains the situation during the hurricane, it is so descriptive and the words it uses makes me feel like I am in the main characters place. I recommend this book to everybody, and I mean everybody, anybody that can read has to read this book if you haven't already.
