“a great sequel to the city of bones, with all the same stuff that makes this a great series- the humour, the action, the romance and the interesting fantasy setting. the characters are great and easy to love, with a good villain to complete the piece. it ends very nicely, setting it up for the third installment. a very enjoyable, sexy, urban fantasy.”

“I loved the inrony in this book. There was so many twists and turns I had to pay close attention. I would recomend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller. I love how Clare wrote this book it's amazing! Now I really want to read the next book in this series! I also love this book because it has wonderful detail. It also felt like I was there in the book because of how good she can explain all of the scenes.”

“I did not expect to really like this series, but I love it! The writing style is amazing (even though I'm not partial to third person!), the characters are complex and understandable, and overall the plot makes you think and is fully engaging.
