I happened to come across this book by mistake as it was shoved in the area of an author whose books I was looking at. I liked the cover so I read the jacket and it sounded good! I ended up really liking this book a lot. I loved the descriptions of Paris and often felt as though I was there myself. Excellent summer read!

I read a proof copy of this book and was familiar with the blog beforehand. I had mixed reactions to the book. Sometimes I wondered what on earth she was thinking, other times I could identify with some of her emotions. Overall, as a recently returned expat myself, I found it an interesting book. The descriptions of life and love in Paris were insightful.
