I wanted to love it. I tried to love it. I did like the characters, but I'm not suprised it wasn't published. If Heinlein had wanted it published, he had the clout later in life to get it published. It seems he knew best.

    Yes Ellie, it's not great. But lets face it, once we've exhausted the library, and are jonesing for more, we will read (or re-read) just about anything?
    I thought it was interesting just for some of the economic ideas, and to see the roots of future stories. Admittedly not his best effort, but it does give some perspective and appreciation for the writer he grew into.
