“Help Me, Rhonda.” “Roxanne.” “Hey There, Delilah.” It seems that in every generation a rock band wails an anthem to a lost love. In Audrey, Wait, the band is the Do-Gooders, the girl is Audrey, and the book title is also the name of the hit single. Narrator Audrey describes her break-up...

It was a good book. But not really great. It is a thought provoking concept: what if, one day, you became super famous? It's interesting. I did not like the amount of cussing in this book, but it provides an honest look into a high school life. I appreciated the truth of a girl's life.

This book was great! I really liked how she is a total music freak because I am too. This is so true how BOYS can get you caught up in things. I also really like the whole fame thing too. My favorite book!!!

A girl named Audrey breaks up with her boyfriiend, Evan. Evan wrotes a song that becomes a huge hit. Audrey experiences what it's like to be famous amd she doesn't enjoy it. I love how the author made this book a fun Highschool Experience.

All I can say about Audrey, Wait! is this: Rock On!!!

I LOVE music related books! Like, Breathe, Sloppy Firsts(there weren't that many but I love Barry Manilow), The Last Song. Oh, I could go on. Don't tempt me. But seriously, Audrey is as music obsessed as I am(& probably every other teenage girl in the world) but minus the loud radio thing.

So, Audrey broke up with Evan and Evan wrote a song about it and suddenly BAM!!! His band, the Do-Gooders and even Audrey went famous virtually overnight. The Do-Gooders get to tour in Japan while Audrey got bombed with paparazzi/media/press everyday.

I won this book and am so happy I did. This one is definitely NOT a disappointment. I repeat: NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT. So if you have this on your shelf/iPad/Nook/Kobo/Kindle/Sony/etc or see this in a bookstore, Don't hesitate. Grab it. And get ready for those flashing paparazzi lights.

Audrey, Wait is about a girl that has somehow managed to lose interest in her boyfriend. Her best friend Victoria never liked him to begin with so when they broke up she was all for it. The fact that Evan was never really a gentleman towards Audrey was a reason why they broke up. Victoria tried to help her by having her make a list of why she should and shouldn't date Evan. There were many more in the shouldn't column than anywhere else. Evan has a band called the Do- Gooders. At that time almost everyone she knew was in a band or leaving one. Victoria and her boyfriend didn't really think that it was that bad because her boyfriend was pretty weird, especially for her.
So, does his band fall apart because he doesn't have Audrey there? Does he find another love and forget all about her? Well with the way the story is going you'll just have to read and see. Enjoy!

The protagonist was very funny and witty. I enjoyed reading about how she dealt with the obstacles she encountered throughout the book! :)
