This novel was recommended to me from my grandmother, so I was obliged to give it a whirl. I found that the book was longer than the story would have allowed if it had a say in the matter. The plot line was easy to follow but dragged on excessively. I think I should probably spend more time with my grandmother since she obviously doesn't know what type of reader I am.

Sustain relationships...you're right. That is what this book is about. Although, I thought the book was a bit cheesy at times, I really enjoyed it. It was very touching and a great example of forgiveness, unconditional love, and the way we should be living our lives.

I read this while on vacation in Mexico and from the second page on I couldn't put the book down. I'd have to say that this is the best book I've ever read. Tears will stream down your face, but your heart will be filled with hope and love and the understanding in real world terms what it takes to sustain relationships. I LOVED this book!!!
