This book is written for African Americans, and it's about the need for self-improvement in the community.

I loved this book!! I think it should be essential reading (with the bible of course) for all parents. I think it is a book that is long overdue for the African American community. We don't like to hear truth but it is the only thing that is going to change our circumstances. I thank Bill Cosby and Dr. Poussaint for writing this book and giving it as a gift to us- we need more truth speakers out there !

I got tired of reading it! It wasn't a bad book...it just couldn't hold my attention to the end.
