“ Dorothy Jarrod, aka DJ, has had her dream come true. She's becoming the librarian of her very own library. It's in Kansas, but it's going to become her home and she can't wait. Sure, her landlady is the head of the library board and might be a little kooky and her employees are unique but it's all fine until she meets her landlady's son, or should we say meets for a second time?
When Scott Sanderson meets the new librarian, he's not overly impressed. She's a buttoned up, tightly wound woman who keeps giving him the stink eye and a definate stay away vibe. If only his mother didn't keep thrusting her in his direction.
I loved Love Overdue! Not just because I gained an impressive amount of knowledge about harvesting wheat. It's a wonderful book, not to mention love story. DJ, Scott and Viv are wonderful characters, not to mention Dewey the dog as well as a group of amazing secondary characters. I really hope that this spins off into a series. There were so many good characters, I see a lot of opportunities. I can't say enough good things about the book. Highly recommend!
I recieved an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. ”
