This book was good from the beginning to the end. I was hooked on the first page. The author did a very good job with the characters. This book also taught me the importance of forgiving and healing and how they both work together.

This is a brilliant book that will give any woman a great dose of encouragement, whether she thinks she needs it or not! The character Ruth along with her friends Clara, Bernie, and May will remind everyone woman of a friend that she has or once had. The way the protagonist Ruth overcomes her struggles and even her ability to admit her faults will empower encouragement into your heart. The novel absolutely caught my attention from page 1 to the end. I laughed out loud and wanted to cry at times. J.D. Mason definitely has a gift and I intend on reading each of her books I recommend this book for every WOMAN to READ!
