  • Thom Creed: Main character and narrator. Thom is a gay teen fresh out of high school who has recently discovered that his seizures are a by-product of his super power: healing. Son of Hal Creed (AKA Major Might).
  • Hal Creed: Supporting character. Once the greatest hero on earth, Hal (formerly known as Major Might) was kicked out of the League after what was considered a folly of his caused the destruction of Wilson Tower, where thousands died. A hero with no super powers, he hates heroes with powers and is still mourning the disappearance of his wife. Father of Thom Creed.
  • Goran: Supporting character. Goran, a foreigner from a war-torn country who, after the death of his parents, became the provider for his household, plays against Thom in a basketball game, where Thom heals his extensive injury. Afterward, he sees Thom often and plays basketball against him.
  • Ruth: Supporting character. As a member of Thom's try-out group for the League, Ruth is a tough old psychic who has no patience for fools or needless decorum. She quickly befriends Thom.
  • Scarlet: Supporting character. Scarlet, a member of Thom's try-out group for the league, is a girl about Thom's age with a temper as hot as her super-powered fire. Constantly critical and always wearing her pizza delivery jacket, she and Thom instantly get off on the wrong foot.
  • Golden Boy: Supporting character. As the Silver Bullet's sidekick, Golden Boy is often arrogant and condescending, preferring to be a one-man show instead of helping Thom's try-out group, which he is the leader of. His real name is Kevin.
  • Typhoid Larry: Supporting character. Larry, a member of Thom's try-out group, has a power that seems to, more often than not, make him miserable - he is able to make people sick. Thom is the only one who can touch him, as Thom's healing powers cancel out Larry's.
  • Uberman: One of the A-list super heroes in the League. Loves to be in the spotlight during all media interviews.
  • Ssnake: Villain that helps the main character out with out knowing so.
  • Clayton: Basketball player on Thom's opposing team who bullies him for being gay.
