“I really enjoyed this book. I'm sure it was in part because I just finished reading Pillars of the Earth and this is set just after Pillar's was. For some reason that always makes me enjoy a book more. Petty, I know. It was also a nice surprise. I picked it up from the library on a pure whim and I'm glad it turned out so well. ”
