Not as good as Danielle Steele's older novels.

It was okay. Typical Danielle Steel novel: intro, tragic event, everyone's happy in the end.

Typical Danielle Steel. Good but sappy. The story was interesting but not unusual for her.

"Honor Thyself" was the first book, written by Daniel Steel, that I've read. It is indeed an amazing book that captures the life of a movie stars who passes through an event which helps her reveal the feelings of loved ones. A story excelently written by an author known by most!!!

Ok, I sort of expected more from DS. I have read all DS that I could get my hands on. The original Kaleidoscope was the very first I found years ago. Been in love with the style of DS ever since. She can evoke tears and laughter from stone. Believe me, I know. Hopefully, Honor Thyself will not be her downfall. I still believe that DS is one of the best out there.

Not one of my favorites...I tend to like her novels that span a greater amount of time. It was fairly predictable, and I never found myself really caring about any of the characters.

It was good but a little boring, I agree. Took forever to finish the last few chapters which was weird.

This was typical Danielle Steele. But I enjoyed it reading it. I would recommend it to anyone trying to rediscover themselves.

Good story premise, loose editing. Could have been a lot better. I have to admit I'm not a big DS fan! I swear, every other page, at least, had a sentence that she reiterates. Seriously, she says it over. It makes me feel less intelligent, somehow; or like my time would be better spent elsewhere. I suppose if you're looking for pure fluff with no challenge, you can't go wrong! I hadn't read one of hers in a long time, and the premise looked interesting (and was), so I picked it up. But I was ultimately left with a feeling of "this needed a better editor, or more time devoted to it, at least!" It'll be a while before I try again. Sorry, Danielle! Hey, while I'm at it, I should mention that two weeks prior to reading this I read Kathleen Turner's "Send Yourself Roses," and I spent most of my time reading this wondering if one of them got a hold of the other's book before they were published. Except Kathleen never had amnesia (as far as I can tell). So if you liked this book, and are looking for similar non-fiction, look up Kathleen. I admit I enjoyed that one (not that I didn't enjoy DS, I just felt slightly demeaned by it!).
