The author is a lay-person, not a medical doctor, researcher or a previously published author, so know that going into this book, it is not necessarily the best book you'll read, but it may have benefits if you are interested in what green smoothies are and how they can benefit your health. They perform some studies in this book, however they do not seem all that scientific. I am not against what they are saying, but it is mostly testimonial, so take any of this dietary advice with caution. There is a recipe section in the back with some interesting ideas, and there are tips on how to change up your smoothies so you don't get bored with the same flavors.
