When she is befriended by a group of older widows known as The Invincible Sisterhood, she welcomes the friendship and the love but feels like a fish out of water in the group of women who have sweet memories to share of loving and committed husbands. Her husband’s betrayal has made her a bitter woman and nothing seems to help Traci find her way out of her misery until she playfully kisses her close friend Maureen's handsome son Ryan. It was such a passionate kiss that it cause Traci to reconsider her previous way of thinking about men. The classy women of The Invincible Sisterhood make you laugh at their antics, agreeing with their views on men, love and life and enjoying the way them empower and encourage one another. I believe that you’ll be entertained until the end. This book a definite MUST read!

One of my students brought this book to me to read, and I truly enjoyed it. I have read many of Mrs. Ray's books, and I have always loved them. Mrs. Ray, I worked for DISD for 10 years. Are you still working for the district? Just wondering.

W.O.W, FANTASTIC,this book have me from the first page until the end, didn't want to put this book down for anything. Invincibile Sisterhood, ladies, who lost their husbands, and Traci lost her husband, she was more angry than she was grief-stricken because her husband infidelities at his death. Sisterhood- funny, widows that knew how to get their groove on, best friends that where always there when in need, always have each other back. Maureen's took Traci in to the sisterhood, she is the young one, they took her under their wings. When Simon saw Maureen at the resturant, he knew he want her in his life. But Maureen was going to fix him up with Traci, but Simon only have eyes for Maureen. Not know that her son Ryan was trying to get Traci for hisself. Simon and Ryan where gentlemen knew how to provide protection and treat their women, they show Traci&Maureen that they are capable of being there for them emotionally. Simon wanted Maureen, age made no different to him, he saw a beautiful woman that he have to have, for the rest of his life. Ryan was good looking and he wanted Traci, but Traci knew that he wouldn't want a woman like her, full-figured frame. Ryan wanted so bad to get close to Traci, but first he have to get past the trust and image issues that Traci has build up around herself. I was really hurt and upset what Ryan did to Simon and what he said to his mother, about her being to old for Simon, to old to have children, that Simon would leave her for a young woman later down the road. It made me want to slap him, he was wrong. When you are in love, age is nothing but a number. I'm so thrill that Simon&Maureen are together and she decide to married him after all. Ryan and Traci are together and he ask her to married him too. W.O.W. Everyone getting that second chance at love and happiness. Fantastic story, love triumphs over personal issues, suffering, lonely. Story with love, romantic, friendship, lust. Oh, and you can't forget the woman Elise, who was stalk him, how Traci laid her out cold, I knew than that she could take care of herself. I was really caught up in all the passion, attraction and desire between the two couples it was fantastic.
I can say every book that I read by Ms. Ray kept me captivated some beginning to the end. What is next!!!! Must Read!!

    Gettin' Their Groove Back

Mrs. Ray has spun another very romantic, yet emotionally thrilling adventure for our reading pleasure. I was TOTALLY captivated from the very first page! I've read six books this January and I have to say, this one is my favorite so far. Mrs. Ray did an EXCELLENT job with Traci and Ryan's romance. And I enjoyed the INSTANT attraction between Maureen and Simon. The storyline as always flowed effortlessly across the pages. The characters are UNFORGETTABLE. Main and secondary characters will have you LOL and crying and at their many antics. I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie of the ladies in the "Invincible Sisterhood" they were funny as all get out. And even though they're all widows, they definitely knew "how to get their groove back". Simon and Ryan are definitely gentlemen that know how to provide protection and SATISFACTION to their women, not just a physical satisfaction, but they showed Traci and Maureen they were capable of being there for them emotionally, too. I totally got caught up in all the passion and desire between these two couples it was very sensual. I love the way Mrs. Ray allowed us to get caught up with Justine Crandall and Dalton Ramsey and Brianna Ireland and Patrick Dunlap, the couples from "In Another Man's Bed". I look forward to reading more about the rest of the Dunlap brothers...hint, hint...bring it on Mrs. Ray! A definite MUST read!

This is a wonderful book. I loved both Maureen and Traci's characters. They were very strong women who eventually found happiness in the end. I highly recommend this book.

Widow Traci Evans sits in on meetings with the lovely ladies of the Invincible Sisterhood because for a little while she can feel as if she belongs. The members are all sweet older women who have lost their husbands, but not their passion for life. However, unlike the other women in the Sisterhood, Traci's husband died while cheating on her. Full-figured, sassy and successful, Traci has no intention of letting a man make a fool of her again, not even if he begged - but that was before a playful kiss turned hot and irresistible. Maureen, Traci's next door neighbor and best friend, organized the Invincible Sisterhood after losing her husband. Unlike Traci, Maureen misses the intimacy, the connection with a man. She thinks she might have found a perfect candidate - until she learns he is ten years younger and she starts having hot flashes.
