I must say that Yasmine Galenorn is becoming one of my favorite autors. I wasn't looking forward to Darkling because Menolly is my least fav sister, but it was just as good as the rest. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves a fun paranormal!

I thought this was the worst one in the series so far and I don't think I will read book 4 unless I've run out of things I want to read.. There just wasn't anything that interesting in the book.

The D'Artigo sisters, Camille, Delilah, and Menolly, are half-human, half- Fae operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. When humans begin to go missing, then turn up as newly born vampires, Menolly- an acrobat extraordinaire-turned-vampire- must face the demons haunting her memories.

Absolutely an amazing and mesmerizing series! It gets better by the book yall, I mean for anyone who loves the paranormal, get this series.

This book, DARKLING, tells the tale of Menolly and how she became a vampire, not by choice. Her sire, Dredge, brutally scared and raped her before turning her at the last and final second of torture. Now Dredge is said to be aligned with the evil Shadow Wing and he's on the streets killing humans and turning them, right in Menolly and her sister's backyard. Menolly wants him dead, for good this time, but can she face him? Can she face the last man she had sex with, all be it unwillingly, the last man to do things to her like that, and kill him? She can if she can sever the ties to Dredge, trouble is, to sever those ties, she must relive the horror he bestowed upon her, and even a super-vamp like Menolly may not survive the trip to the past.

I don't want to give anything away about the book, because it does go farther than I expected and to be honest, my male favorite character is Smoky, the hunky dragon, but I'm beginning to like Morio too. :-) Of the three sisters, Camille, Delilah, and Menolly, I really thought that Camille was my favorite, I mean hey the lady's got men for each end! LOL. But after reading Menolly's story, I just love her. She's more human than she should be considering she's one of the undead, but in the end I think she's the most human of them all. I actually cried in a couple places in this book, and for me that's not normal. I really "connected" with her character. Anyway, long story short folks, you just got to read this if you are a paranormal reader. If you're niot, you will be when you read this series. I'm waiting on the next book in the series to come in from the library (this week sometime). Gave this a 5/5. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This was heart breaking. Out of all three books so far of the series Darkling was more heart renching. Menolly had been through more suffering and pain then anyone could imagine. This book made me cry, and of all the sisters I believe so far she is the most changed. Exellent read!

The third in the Otherworld Series, this time told from Menolly's point of view. You learn more about her past and how she became a vampire and get more insight into how she deals with her life. I'm continuing to really enjoy the series and seeing how the story is growing. My only complaint is that they always defeat that books bad guy by the end and it's usually condensced down because most of the book was taken finding him. There is the big bad guy that we have heard about but not seen but that's the only one. It might be interesting to see them go against the bad guy but lose and have to regroup and then go back at him the next book.
