Draven is a man who has not spoken a word in twenty years. Faith is a woman chosen to lead her clan but because of a brutal attack she doubts herself and her ability to lead her people. She chose the Cameron Devil because she assumed that "a dead man tells no tales". And, that the true father of her babe would never return, she was wrong on both counts. Ms. Waters has crafted a remarkable story of how much turmoil the human spirit can withstand, and the power of love and compassion. This book had me enchanted from start to finish for several reasons. One, I wondered if Faith would be able to love and love someone in spite of what happened to her and two, if Draven would ever found his voice again. For the paranormals out there, this story has that too. Draven is truly a witch of outstanding powers, that even he fears them. If you have not read it yet, check it out
