“The gods want the Rhinegold, the aliens stole the Rhinegold and a magical curse follows the possessor unless its gifted.
Brunnhilde is searching for the perfect love. As a Valkyrie, Brunnhilde hears a fallen soldier calling his love’s name out in his dying breath. Wanting to discover that kind of devotion and love she interferes in events that make the gods punish her.
Wotan’s Dilemma was nothing what I expected. I wouldn’t really call it steampunk but I would say science fiction. The aliens created a device powered by the Rhinegold. The gods need the Rhinegold to remain young and powerful...and this is a story about what lengths they both go to to obtain the Rhinegold.
For such a small book this was overflowing with plot twists and turns. At times it was difficult to follow, with many characters and lots of mechanizations. In the end, I found Wotan’s Dilemma interesting and intriguing but not a good match for me.
This ARC copy of Wonton's Dilemma was given to me by Smith Publicity in exchange for a honest review. Publish Date March 15, 2013.”
