“Mick Brown's look at various modern gurus. He's always an observer, and such a perspective never takes one very far. If you want to know what swimming's like, you have to immerse yourself in water, not stand on the shore and watch. It's worth reading, for he writes very well and his views are entertaining and often worthy.”
