I enjoyed this book. It started off a little slow, but it turned out to be really good. I wanted to see the main character find happiness and come out on top. Her story was very interesting. The ending was unexpected and a bit sad. I'm really impressed with this author's work. I look forward to reading more from her.

She's N Angel, Excellant book, Loooved. The characters are Charlene who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, and she have a dark secert that she is hiding, been for all her life. She was a wild child even through she mother was strict on her and her sister. She ran with some girls who where wild, sex. She was thirteen and got pregnant, she was afraid to tell her parent, so her and her friend try to abort the baby their self. They didn't know what they where doing they, she use a knitting needle pushing it around up inside of herself, she started bleeding and it wouldn't stop. Her friend call her mother and she took her to the hospital, they thought hat she was going to bleed to death that how bad she was bleeding. They removed the baby, and said that she perforated her uterus and it a chance she will never have children. Now she was engaged to a wonderful man. The dark past that she try to keep behind is about to catch up to her.
Isaac, a wonderful man,now he knew that he have a wonderful woman, he been waitting along time to find the perfect woman.
She sister and friend told her that she should tell him that she might not be able to have children. She kept putting it off, she have to find the right time. She think back on her life when she was young and wild, was a hooker, sleep with men for money or a gift and after they found how easy she was they left. She started to denied her past, changed her ways and that means handled she life and men differntly. This is where all the lies and deceit, with Isaac is from. She should tell him that she might not can have children. She makes appointment to go see the doctor, to see what is what. They are at the doctor she tell the doctor, what she did when she was young, and the doctor do some tests, and inform her she will call with the results of the tests. Her and her sister is waiting for the doctor to call, than she call. The doctor ask her if she is having sex, she said yes, they use the pull-out way, sometime they don't. She found out she is capable of getting pregant, it won't be easy and a chance it's possible. She might could carry the baby full term and it could be a severe health rick, due to the history of damage done to her uterine. Isaac, kept asking her what the doctor said, she kept lies to him, guess from the presser from her sister and friend she broke down and told him every thing. She knew from the beginning that Isaac want children, special to carry on his father name, a boy. So it hurt him, he calls her name, said her was dishonest, he was angry, said she was real loose, a hoe. She knew how it meant for him to give his father grandchildren. She didn't want to lose him, them lies, might cost her him. Isaac call the next day in few hour he was coming to get his stuff and the ring, the engagment is off.Old friend of her she call and he comes over, he only there for a booty call, and they do have sex but, she put a comdom on him. Pagie told her to give him time that he would come back, but she knew that he was never coming back. She stay home for a while than goes back to work, go and get her some Oreo cookies and milk, she can't seem to get a enough of the lately. She run to the bathroom to throw up. Her sister call and they talk about going shopping that she need some clother and she told that she just threw up, and she was gain some weight, talk a little longer, they hang, she call her sister and ask her to come over and stop and pick up a home pregnacy. Because her sister said she might be pregant. Did the test she find out she is pregnacy and she makes a doctor appointment, she call Isaac and told him that she was pregant, and he wanted to see what the doctor said and would take it from there. Went to the doctor appointment the doctor was surprise to see her back, she told her she took a home pregnacy test and it came out positive. She did her test and found out she was eight weeks pregnant. She told her what was what. She might lose the baby along the way and she would be put on bedrest, her uterus could rupture while giving birth and she could bleed to death. Than if she follow every instructions there might be a chance that both of them would make it.
Well the wedding is back on and her and Isaac are going to try it, no more lies and she much always be honest. He move some of his things back and he started taking her to work and pick her up. His father died, they have his funeral, every one broke down and cry but Isaac, still dry eyed. His father meant evrything to him, he wanted to be like his father. Charlene had two weeks left before she have to go on bedrest. The wedding plan back on he call for the colors. Rich wanted to meet to talk he thought that the baby might be his, they meet at a restaunt and they where going to a table, at a table are a group of people and she heard Isaac voice, he wanted to know why she was here, she told him she have a craving for the shrimps, told her her friend was waiting for her, she turn and walk out. She end up at her sister crying half the night. Next day Rich call on her cell phone, to see if she was okay, and if the baby was his He would be there. She told him it was Isaac, from the date the doctor gave her, she already pregnant. She did go shopping for herself snacks and drinks, food to cook and food for microwave. Her and Isaac spent some time together. He still love her and they did have a wedding set and a baby on the way, if there is a reason to move on, they have one. Went out to dinner and Isaac told her how happy he was to be spending forever with her. She carring his child inside of her and they are going to be a wonderful family. She is now on bedrest and she web looking for information about mentorin young girls. She started getting pains and she call Isaac but it went through to his voice mail. Pains kept getting worser so she call her sister Paige, when she couldn't get Isaac, told her she was having really badly pains. Paige hurry over there and grabbed some of Charlene's things and head to the emergency room. Pagie held on to Charlene in case she have any more bad paims. She try Isaac again and got him, told him she was having pain and on her way to Lawrence Hospital, he would meet her there. A sharp pain return this time lift her out of the seat. They arrival at the hospital, she tell the nurse the she in early labor. They put her in a room and hook her up to a fetal monitor, she was bleed. A doctor came in and check her and told her the baby for coming, she wanted her doctor but there was no time she was in pain again. he broke her water and told her to push, the doctor told the nurse to put some thing in the IV. She push more and she started hemorrhaging, the doctor have to try some thing else. Charlene held her hand out for her sister to hold and they both cried, she could feel the love and support from her sister. Isaac walked in to the waiting room Jasmine and Paige, was there, he went to the station and ask for Charlene Tanner room, doctor comes out the room, ask if he the father he said yes, and he ask him to follow him. He took him to see his daughter who was born permature, she was gorgeous. He ask where was Charlene, and was told that she didn't make it. Isaac took a step backward to sit and shake himself, put his face in his hands, which the doctor tried to explain it to him. Her uterus ruptured during labor and she hemorrhaging badly and pressure fell. Paige came in where Isaac and the doctor was standing. I was holding her hand, I felt her let go, and burst in to tears. He saw the pain in Paige and he put his arms around her and he broke down and started crying he was feeling the pain in his heart. The joy of the birth of his daughter was smothered by the pain of the death of his fiancee, his father first. He felt everything was crashing down around him. His daughter look so much like her mother. Four months late, he took her to her parent home. They call her their little angel. He name their daughter Charese Tanner Milton. The four sat there with the baby and Iassc could feel Charlene's presence. A picture of her was on a table, she was gorgeous, holding a rose, she graduated from junior high school. If was like she was telling him, " Isaac, everything is going to be just fine" First time I read a book by Janine Morris and planning on reading her other book. Excellant book. Read it in one day couldn't put it down. How do you judge a woman's worth through her career, beauty and character? Or is the truth about mistakes and indiscretions best kept secret?

SHE’S NO ANGEL by Janine A. Morris is an engaging novel that I couldn’t put down. The characters were so alive and present I found myself actually talking to Charlene. Charlene’s situation is one I am sure many young girls find themselves in as they attempt to deal with their feelings of inferiority, ugliness, lack of real love and who only have their peers they can really talk with about their situation. Isaac’s character is like so many men: wanting their women to be pure, but are they that pure themselves? It is a novel well worth reading.
