While some may take issue with Ms. Garrison’s depiction of an African –American minister falling into the very sins he preaches against, I applaud her for expertly handling the subject matter while still being respectful to the church. Although some dialogue and sexual situations depicted in the book may offend some readers, those who can actually accept the truth in her writing until the very end will understand that there is an irreplaceable message in every single line.
