One of my friends met Jim Butcher yesterday in Portland and got me a signed copy of "Small Favor". I sat down with it at lunch and have already read 3 chapters. LOVE IT.
Ooo! That is so cool!
I am in the middle of the audio book. Chapter 14. I like James Marsters as a reader. I really wonder how Harry is going to get out of this one.
Did Harry kill Nickodemas?
I think so... but am not sure.
Why do you think that?
I have read pretty much the entire series, great subway reading, just don't forget where you are and miss your stop.
I've just read the entire series basically one after the other after being introduced to them by a friend and loved them all! Having averaged reading a book a day, book ten had me reading at a crawl as I didn't want it to end; so thumbs up to Harry Dresden, but does anyone know what Jim Butcher's other books are like?
Everything I've read by Jim Butcher has been excellent so far. I would highly recommend his Codex Alera series, though the setting is entirely different from the Dresden books.
The Codex Alera series is good. It starts kinda awkwardly, but by the end of the 1st book I was totally engrossed by the characters and society. It's very horse and sword fantasy, a bit like the Song of Fire and Ice books, but much lighter.
