The Fountain Head for me is one of Ayn Rand's masterpieces. The book allowed the voice of the "I" to be heard again and arose from the "we". The book espouses the reawakening of independent thinking which is liberating and provides an exciting journey to the reader. Thus, it is a must read.

A very beautiful novel and nicely written. Its amazing to know that she could expand one idea into 700 pages. The last few pages of the novel is really the "theme" of the novel.
War between creators and second-handers. Altruism is the "bromide" of the century!!
Makes one look back at altruism. Definitely will read more of her works.

Iknow it will sound like a blasphemy for all Rand lovers, but this book I know has played havoc with quite a few young impressionable minds. Almost destroyed them, because they believe and try to play the role model of Hovard Roark. In Rand's world view the world is divided in only black and white. There is no grey. But is it really so in our own world. Think. I have read Fountain Head more than 70 times.

A perfect book for anyone who wish to cultivate "objectivism" in their professional life. The Mr Roaks character is really inspirational..
