“A few years ago I saw this movie titled “Final Destination” it was about a group of school aged kids taking a trip; who were supposed to die in flight but instead escaped death. Soon after their escape, they begin dying one-by-one in mysterious freak accidents. The premise of “Daddy’s House” is almost the same. The story is based on the old adage “what comes around goes around”.
Candice obviously didn’t believe in karma she made one bad decision after another with regards to the men in her life. In the end she had two powerful individuals plotting to take her life. Together they will navigate to put her down however they can.
Through it all Candice seems to remember the teachings of faith she learned from her grandma. But is she in too deep to be saved?
Daddy’s House has a very unpredictable ending which will make Candice and the reader believe “what comes around goes around” I absolutely enjoyed this book LCB is really producing a lot of must reads.
