Excellent storyline. I loved the characters, and it was full of action. Really good read - I couldn't put it down.

Another favorite by Dekker. This book is very cool and it's not as romantic as everyone claims, but still it is a great book full of action and a very good story.

This was the first Ted Dekker book I ever read. I was stunned by how good it was.....oh, I had no idea what I had been missing!!! Don't miss out if you haven't tried Dekker, you haven't really read anything.

This book seemed very appealing to me. I couldn’t even put the book down as soon as I started. I enjoyed how two stories were brought together, into one. Seth Borders was a student who was never amazed with anything. He thought his life was bland and too easy. Seth grew up in a troubled home when he was younger; he was abused by his father, but nurtured by his mother. He was a very smart boy; he had the highest IQ known to any student at his location. From another country, Saudi Arabia, there is a princess named Miriam, who does not believe in her family’s traditions. Her father has arranged for her to get married to a man who is old enough to be her grandfather, and yet she has only seen him a couple times in her fifteen years of life. The wedding is only days away, but she refuses to marry she does not truly love. Seth and Miriam are somehow thrown together, and are on a run for their lives. Miriam must depend on Seth, due to his special abilities. Will they fall in love? Will they survive this journey? I believe this story is worth three and a half stars out of 5. It is packed with romance, action, religion rights, and beliefs. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy complex reading, and enjoy a true love story between two different worlds and two different religions: Christianity and Muslimism.

Blink is the first novel I've read by Ted Dekker and I plan on reading man more Dekker novels. While the main characters are quite different -- a laid-back, surfer-type genius begrudgingly finishing his doctorate and a Saudi princess being forced into an arranged marriage -- their worlds collide and the rest of the story is at breakneck pace. The genius surfer is able to see into the future and see thousands of different possible outcomes and along the way, faith is examined, adding another element to the novel.
