“I am trying very hard to read this novel, but even with the opening of a homicide, well, I just cannot seem to get into it. I cannot make it past he first chapter, this is very rare for me to be sure...I keep placing this novel down to read another, finish one, then pick this one back up again, and it is feeling like torture to get it started. I pray it gets interesting soon. I don't know what it is that is so droll to me...it should be very lively and interesting, but...
