“Started reading earlier. Picked it up again and enjoyed an interesting story. Two teenagers kiled. A battle between the two families. Want to read more of her writing.”Shirley R wrote this review 3 weeks ago. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“322p When a car accident kills two teens from opposite sides of the tracks, the aftermath threatens to tear a community apart. On one side, Melanie Johnston--a grieving single mother--is convinced her son will be forgotten. On the other is Andie Phelps, a reserved woman who retreats even further into herself with grief.
Readers' emotions are torn between these two sympathetic characters as each fights her way through grief and pain--sometimes wisely and sometimes with choices that have the power to divide family, church, and even their small, sea-side town.
“This book really touched my heart. 2 young men dead and how both families deal with the grief and pain. Through all the hurt God brings something good.”Terry Conrad wrote this review Monday, December 31, 2012. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“This book is nicely written and is a good story about two different women coming to terms with the lose of their sons. This is christian literature and the problems arise, the christian belief and action are all brought and allowed to play with the reality of these greiving women. Its a good book in that its not didactice and pithy. Christian beliefs and ideals are challenged, but perhaps not vigourasly enough, and the characters are more or less believable.
All in all, it was a pleasurable read and I got some insight on practicing christian's point of view. ”

“Two different women, two different economic strata...an accident.. opposite worlds collide. Both sides of this tragic circumstance is presented in a way that makes the reader angry with and sympathetic to each mother. A riveting story about pain, loss and forgiveness.”Patricia wrote this review Saturday, October 1, 2011. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“When a teenage boy causes an accident that kills both himself and another teenage boy, how are their families supposed to cope? This Christian novel takes that scenario and shows how important forgiveness and charity are.”Karina W wrote this review Tuesday, August 16, 2011. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful?
