Winner of the Bram Stoker Award for 2007. Sarah Langan has a twisted sense of humor which I found most enjoyable reading this book. I was in tears a couple of times laughing so hard. That being said, she also has a gift of the scary, creating some truly creepy images as a mysterious disease gradually consumes a small town in Maine. One of the better horror novels I've read in a while.
