Didn’t Like It“not too fond of the tortured hero in this series no sensible woman should want to deal with his issues! So naturally I became a little impatient in many parts of this book” see full review » see other reviews » |
“If we had half stars I would give it a four and a half. It wasnt quite a five but was definatley up there. I really enjoyed this book it moved faster then the others kept my intrest longer, I am really getting enthralled with the series now that it gotten further into the larger story.”

Each member of the breed finds a mate with special powers. Dylan has the abilitly to see the souls of dead breedmates. It all starts when Dylan stumbles on a cave where Rio is hiding; trying to get his nerve up to kill himself. She snaps a few pictures of the cave and takes off. He then has to track her and try to set things straight so that the breed remains safe and off human raidar. They learn to love and trust each other.
This book isn't my favorite of the series but it is worth reading.

“Hola Mama, it has been a while since we last spoke. What with you being dead hundreds of years or so. Oh Mama, our time together was too short you and I. Sadly before I became the man I am today, you were brutally killed by ignorant humans who do not understand your gift; our gift. It is true that our hands, when laid upon people can bring death but pshaw Mama! PSHAW! Such minor technicalities. And yes Mama, perhaps a little part of you always hated and were repulsed by me as I was….a little distinta from the other young boys my age, but that is part of my charm yes? I think of the times we spent together Mama, you feeding me with your open vein, me hiding from sunlight, dios mio we had so much fun together you and I! But Mama, what brings me here is a burning need to tell you Mama….
