Customer Orientation...!!! That's what is definitely worth learning from this book..!!

An excellent rags-to-riches story of a simple Baniya hailing from a remote village of India. From there, he starts and currently owns a empire of around 2000 crore.

Another very good feature is of keeping the things simple...

Do read it.. a must for every individual shopping at Future Group outlets...

Worth a read for any budding entrepreneur or somebody who intends to know how to network with people and make it into a success story for the whole country & maybe the world to see.

I have not read much of these kind of books. This is first book or probably the second after Business@Speed of Thoughts By Bill Gates that I have read and which talks about the revolution in business.
Though the earlier one that I read,I was not able to relate it with arena of the business in India, but This book of Kishore Biyani gives a real picture of all the negative thoughts that come to any typical middle class ordinary Indian guy who dares to think about starting a business.
This book is more about what not to do or think when you plan to start a business rather than what to do.Some lines which I would really liket to mention here are--

"Making finance the starting point of a decision-making process, stops businesses from taking many initiatives and ultimately slows down growth."

"If at first the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.
    ALBERT EINSTEIN"

"Mistakes have been integral to our growth process.:

"The illiterate of the twenty-first century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relarn."

"I have discovered that people who do not blame others for slip-ups, failure, or setbacks are the ones who are the happiest."

Every individual who is planning to start a business must read this book.
