“Both heroine and hero are tortured souls. Grace Paget is a recent widow(disowned by her VERY prominent family) and gets lost in Bristol, England when her cousin fails to show up to get her. She is kidnapped and taken to a very isolated estate to be the mistress of a tortured (literally) Lord Sheene. If she does not give in to all his desires she will be killed. Well, this gets us started on a wonderful love/rescue story. I really liked this one because of the novel premise.”
