“I loved the characters in this book the reason that it didn't get a five star rating was because I felt like there should be more interaction with neighbors,friends....etc and this is just my personal belief but I believe the story would be better if the brother had survived or wasn't in the car at all. I couldn't put this book down because 50 pages into the book I was mentally screaming at the characters to "stop being self conscious idiots and just admit to each other that you love them" Overall three stars is a really good rating from me because I happen to be very picky and I still cling to my paranormal books. I almost didn't read the book because it said hired by the cowboy and I was afraid I was going to have to endure page after page of y'all's although I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case....so if you are having second thoughts about reading this book just read it.”

Both needed "rescue" from their immediate life. Alexis needed a place for herself and her unborn baby. Connor needed to be married to receive his trust fund to safe his family ranch.
Both were without any support or family but yet found support with each other. Even if they did not want to admit to the growing romance between them.
Alexis although hungry for love and a place of her home thought to much, trying to reason why she had to leave. Connor could not admit his growing feelings. Struggling to save his herd from a sickness that plaque the country.
It caused a twister at the end to open their eyes, face their fears and admit that they love each other.
Well written plot with developed characters to give you a fast pace love story. With a good build up.”

“Heart-warming! Rated PG for illusions of consummation. Had lots of romantic endearments and tender moments. Not much in the way of sizzling sexual encounters. ”
