I just ordered this book from play.com looking forward to reading it and finishing the trilogy just hope it lives up to expectations
I'm about 2/3 of the way through. Feist's strength is his ability to draw his characters and settings and bring them to life.
Raymond has a good writing style that makes his books easy to read even when they are long. In this book we get answers to most of the questions raised through the series. The plot lines borders on standard fantasy fare but this is well worth reading.
Does anyone think raymond feist went too far over the line with fantasy in his last couple of books?
Yeah, his last few books are not great. After Arutha died, the books are not as good. It almost seems like the Feist is getting bored with his work. And trying to make Pug the main character was a mistake. He's kind of a boring character. That saying, still one of the best series out there. It's hard to top characters like Jimmy and Arutha!!!
