  I really liked this story. Right away, I felt compelled to find out what happens after three prisoners are circumstantially left alone in a room and begin having a conversation. I had a feeling where it was going to go, but the story drew me in so that I had to read every scene to the very end. Mariah Stewart is a wonderful writer with very in depth characters. I really enjoyed this book! Thank you, Mariah.”

  “The is a great book with a lot of suspense. The first in Mariah Stewart's Dead Trilogy. It doesn't have a whole lot of romance though. No love at first sight and I don't even recall the word Love being used. You knew almost from the start who the bad guy was but this does not take the suspense away from the book because it was part of the plot not because the author has no clue how to maintain the mystery. I will definitely read the next in the series.”

  “A very good suspense story! This book really kept me at the edge of my seat and up late at night. I just didn't want to put it down. I can't wait to read the next two in the series. ”

  “This is the first in Stewart's "Dead" series. I enjoyed the story. It is fast-paced and does not rely on the romance factor to entice the reader!”
