An engaging read about how to bring about change, in yourself and others.

Just starting it. So far I believe it will have a real impact on my thinking and on my involvement

Having been in the field of Human Resources for more than 20 years, I am usually skeptical about books having to do with human behavior. Particularly ones with claims as grand as "the power to change anything."

I picked up "Influencer" while in an airport, glanced through it, and found enough interesting information to make it worth the cost -- figuring I just as well read this as do anything else on the flight home.

After getting into the first few chapters, I was blown away by the claims, the examples, the research, and the results. This is not a self-help book in my mind -- while the focus is on becoming a better person in influencing others, I see this book as a other-help book because the results of the teaching can create great 'influence' and change for the better in the lives of others.

More than worth the money and time to read. Worth putting into practice in my own life.

This book has some real gems in it but can be a bit scattered in getting the point across. I almost stopped a few times and would read a few more pages and become re-engaged in it. There are some excellent, down-to-earth examples in it.

This book makes much sense and explains why so many of our lofty plans go awry. Read the whole book and pay attention to the case study at the end. Then go back and begin to work on your own problem, remembering all 6 parts of the strategy.

This was one of the most impactful books I've read as a nonprofit leader. A must read for anyone who wants to make a difference in the nonprofit world.
