I enjoyed this much more than In Our Time. The information was presented in an interesting way.
She focuses on how the Women's Movement began hundreds of years ago, and not just in America, and how it takes all of us to keep the movement going forward.”
“The author frames her narrative about women in history who did not behave around the lives of three extraordinary women in world history: Christine de Pizan, the author from the Renaissance who wrote a work on extraordinary women; Elizabeth Cady Stanton, one of the women at the forefront of the early American woman's suffrage movement; and Virginia Woolf, the British author of such works as "A Room of One's Own".”
