Tunnels is a story that is like a tunnel itself. As you read, you're going deeper and deeper into a different world. The story will take you from the regular to the irregular the deeper you get into it.

Not as good as I expected. It's a very strange book with an okay story. I wouldn't say I hated it but it wouldn't be one I would run out and tell everyone to read. I've heard of some who think this story is the next great thing, but it's not in my opinion. I may or may not read the sequel when it comes out next year, we'll see.

I really wanted to enjoy this book because I had heard so many great things about it, but I couldn't even finish it. To use a digging metaphor, since that is what the book is about, I felt like I was shoveling tons of dirt and making little progress.
