"Barbados sugar plantation owner Shayne Knight fantasizes about escaping into the arms of a beautiful stranger—and lovely, sensual travel agent Carla Thompson is the answer to his secret desires. When he's called away suddenly, he vows to return to the island hideaway they shared and turn their no-strings affair into something more. But he's too late—.
Carla awakens, blissful and in love, and discovers Shayne is gone. She's hurt, mad and outta there. Soon she discovers he did leave her something besides memories. She's pregnant! But to claim the man and the love that was meant to be, she'll have to discover paradise all over again."~~~~~~~This is the first novel I've read by Mr. Wayne Jordan and the first romance novel I've read by a male author. I will definitely have to back-track and read more of his work. KUDOS to Mr. Jordan, he has a wonderful gift and I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic tale. He definitely captured the romance and excitement of Barbados, I couldn't put the book down until I was finished. The passion and heat between Carla and Shayne was extremely HOT, yet it had an endearing tenderness to it. The secondary characters only aided in giving more depth and understanding to the very likable main characters. Reading about Carla and Shayne's love affair was like watching a very entertaining movie filled with beautiful Caribbean scenery, and an unending supply of romance and well written dialogue. Looking forward to reading more about the Knight family and their friends.”
