Liked It“Got a bit silly toward the middle, and I was wondering if the series was dying off. But the last few chapters were GREAT! Can't wait to read the next!!” see full review » see other reviews » |

“I can't finish this book, the characters haven't really evolved. The story is always the same way. Victoria is supposed to be the leader of her vampire hunters and yet they keep her in the dark about everything, and she has to go behind everyone's back to get the answers that they already had, and then solves the problem. She is constantly teased and bullied by Max, and sebastian plays games that even I find annoying and I can't understand how she puts up with it all for nothing but sex.
I did enjoy the era the book took place in, and I did like the writing style, but the story itself is boring.
Maybe I will read the next one, but it is unlikely.”
“Book 3 in series”

Sebastian as dissapeared and Max left giving Victoria his vis bulla after the fight with Nedas was over. Victoria must reach out to the vampires to find out where Sebastian has gone so she can seek his help. They must find a way to get into the Secret layer of the alchemist while protecting her self and other Venators from the impending danger.
It was great suspens and love plus a little lust.”
“Not bad for a quick read. I highly suggest reading these in order - I skipped book 2, so the first chapter had my head spinning a bit as I assimilated everything that happened. Overall, a quick read.
Feels a little like she & Stephanie Meyer have had coffee together a few times though”
