“My first in the Argeneau series. I enjoyed it and loved the amount of humor it contained. I thought Victor and Elvi were a great couple and I loved all the guys staying at her house vying for her attention. I love Lynsay Sands twist on the vampire lore.”

“While Lynsay Sands has come up with an innovative take on the vampire myth and her overall stories are creative there is a bit of repetition. She also has a tendency to dial up some situations to ridiculous levels and while in some novels it'd be fine, juxtaposed against the serious back-drops she creates it tends to take you out of a story rather than draw you in. ”

Okay I just got word, My grandmother loved it as well! and this is not her type of book, she likes murder mysteries! She even loaned it to a friend! ”

This was the worst Argeneau book, i was surprised by this one because the cover is just dreamy....the book was really a challenge to read. The Elvi and her old biddy friends just made this book go in circles, the story went nowhere and spent WAY too much time about dull life in small town Canada. Not to mention there were so many hot vamps in town and you never got to hear about them, it just went on and on about the elderly which is so not sexy! The Elvi girl was so annoyingly naive that it just made this book suck. ”
