This is one of my all time favorite books! I was so intrigued with the idea of families actually living on Alcatraz Island during the Depression right alongside criminals! I had to fine out more! We just back from a San Francisco vacation and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see where Moose lived out a portion of his life. I highly recommend this book!
