Yes | No“"The Icebound Land" continues the tradition of vivid characterization, adventure, and humor that marked the first two books in the popular "Ranger's Apprentice" series. Two separate and equally exciting plotlines follow the adventures of Will and Evanlyn in icebound Skandia while Halt and Horace hasten to their aid. Although the book also deals with serious topics such as slavery and drug addiction, these topics are handled with a sensitivity that is appropriate for the book's youthful audience. Overall, readers of the first two "Ranger's Apprentice" books will not be disappointed by this third book in the series.”
