Well-written, awe-inspiring, and enlightening and frightening at the same time ... because instinct tells me there's much more to the incident than the author could disclose. The SEAL's principles of never quit, brotherhood and love-of-country should be an inspiration to all of us who benefit from their sacrifices. Hooyah!”

I like the rawness, the clarity of purpose, the refreshing black-and-white-mindset of the author and Navy SEAL. Starts fast. My spine has already straightened.”

From his training in high School with an ex Navy Seal to BUD's training to his deployments, his accomplishments are many. His description of the failed mission and the heroic attempt of Lt. Murphy to call for aid was especially painful. His hiding under the nose of the Taliban while awaiting a rescue was fascinating. Great read and an excellent start to your discovery of who these Men are that are so willing to put themselves in harms way. ”

An adrenalin filled HOO-YAH true story of the lone SEAL survivor of Operation Redwing, which has the ominous distinction of being the largest casualty of US Special Force Operatives in the history of the military. It is a blow by blow account of the battle and his miraculous survival. There are some interesting insights into the war in Afghanistan and the Pashtuns custom of "Lokhay Warkawa".”
