I just got the book and finished it in one setting, this was really good and i like erotic reads and this one was hot and the storyline made sense. Caine was a strong alpha male and desi was just his match. I can't wait for the next in the series and i can't wait too see who gets Ari's, desi's twin.

This book was a disappointment. I found some aspects to be unbelivable. Such as Desi, she is held prisoner, tied to a bed, abused by numerous men for months. She is saved by Caine, who marries her to keep her safe, and immediatly starts to try to talk her into having sex. She goes along, because she has been trained to, and soon really likes it. I find in hard to beleive any woman would want to have sex again after being repeatedly assaulted for months. I agree with another reviewer that stated, the dialogue is repeated way too often. There is promise with this author, but I won't be finding out.

I really appreciate the fact that this not only a historical novel but also very very sexy. Not to spoil the story line but Desi has been through hell and back, finally a vigorous young Texas ranger rescues her. Caine is from a band of men called Hell's eight, all are steamy and hot. Together they face danger and find a beautiful love. I liked this because it had a interesting story line at the same time relishing steamy love scenes which go from brutal to slow passion. Finally a author can spin a great history that sizzles. I cant wait for the story of Tucker, Shadow, and Tracker to be released; they are the Indians of Hell's eight and I just know they will be the best! (Hope they are not as gentle as Caine...)

This is a great book. It kept me intered and guessing what was next.
I had a hard time putting it down.

I could not put Caine's Reckoning down, fantastic writing, great charactors, super plot. I had to check out all of Sarah Mccarty's books and bought all that are out. And, I'm looking forward to her next installment. What a wonderful Alpha man, oh! how he makes your heart beat. And the heroine wasn't a weakling either. Caine's protection of her was beautiful.
